I am a Data Science PhD student at the Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute, University of California, San Diego, advised by Professors Albert Hsiao and Bradley Voytek. My research centers on vision-language models (VLMs) for radiology and neuroscience, with a particular interest in clinical alignment and workflow enhancement — making these models genuinely useful, trustworthy tools inside real clinical and scientific workflows rather than standalone benchmarks.

Previously, I was a Research Trainee at the Fetal-Neonatal Neuroimaging and Developmental Science Center (Boston Children’s Hospital / Harvard Medical School), where I applied deep learning to fetal brain age prediction, and a Data Scientist II at ClimateAi, building ML and GIS pipelines for climate risk forecasting.
